According to a new progress update from George R. R. Martin, A Dance with Dragons has just passed 1100 manuscript pages. That would make the fourth book in the series longer than A Game of Thrones and A Feast for Crows, and close to A Clash of Kings. With "considerably more in partials, fragments, and roughs," it's likely ADWD will be the second longest book, behind A Storm of Swords (GRRM says ASOS tallied 1521 manuscript pages). The "Meereenese knot" still persists, though GRRM reports that his attention has been on other parts of the Seven Kingdoms.
